Poppy Dangle Earrings

These stunning 925 sterling poppy earrings are designed and hand made in Northern Ireland in a small jeweller's studio on the shores of Strangford Lough.

They are inspired by my grandfathers love of what can only be described as "guerrilla gardening". My grandfather, a second world war veteran, would randomly sew poppy seeds on waste ground, vacant plots of land and the verges of roads as the mood took him. Poppy seed can survive for decades, but when the ground is disturbed, the seed germinates and the vibrant flowers spring up. His legacy lives on.

Measuring 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm approx. Total length 3cm approx inclusive of ear hook.

The poppy has a textured finish with a choice of clear CZ or real Garnet gemstones.
