Silver Irish Floral Lace Double Flower Earrings

This collection was inspired by the repeat patterns of antique Irish crochet lace. This was a source of revenue and a popular past-time in the famine years of the 19th century in Ireland. This type of lace is characterised by separately crocheted motifs, which were later assembled into a mesh background.

Handcrafted 905 sterling silver earrings, featuring two 5 petal flowers. The flowers have been joined in such a way to give a lovely movement to the earrings.

Each flower measures 1.75cm across approx. Total length excluding earwires is 3.5cm approx.
